The process of becoming a Sony Authorized Dealer is a fairly lengthy one, and the fact that you are about to apply for consideration does not reflect any intent on Sony’s part to authorize your store as a dealer or distributor. Nor does it infer that you will be considered for distribution on the internet.

The first step in our process requires you to complete and return the Dealer Profile. Along with the properly completed form, we do require that you send photos of your store. Once our office receives these materials, they will be reviewed by the Regional Sales Manager to see if your profile meets our requirements. Additional considerations require assessment of your geographic location and whether we have room within that geographic location for additional dealers within your channel of distribution.

Please be certain that all forms are completed and all the information requested is provided. Failure to do so may result in your application being denied for consideration.

Should you meet these important criteria, our Sales Manager may contact you for a site inspection. At that time he/she will ask for a complete tour of your facility, inclusive of warehouse capabilities. Upon satisfactory completion of all phases of this process, a credit application will be provided for completion/review and finally, a dealer agreement is signed.

We receive many inquiries regarding new Dealer authorization, and the process of getting back to each individual will take a period of time as we assess and review your application. Thank you for your interest in Sony Electronics.
